MOD POST: All we need is love!

Someone I respect recently brought it to my attention that my recent run of snarky comics criticizing Mystery Incorporated (like these) have been making her uncomfortable and may be alienating comm members who like the show. So I wanted to make this Mod post to clear the air.
I don't want any Scooby fans to feel like they're unwelcome here or to feel like they can't write, say, a thread singing the praises of Mystery Incorporated without getting on my bad side. I want this to be a place where ALL Scooby fans can hang out, have fun, and start/participate in discussions freely. And, yes, that even applies to the folks who love the Scrappy years. ~_^
As for me personally...yeah, I have HUGE problems with what Mystery Incorporated did to Velma. And I really dislike how they altered her, Shaggy, and Scooby's personalities and canon relationships to milk "drama" out of them. That's no secret to anyone here.
That said, I have nothing against the people who like the rebooted versions of the characters and think that Mystery Incorporated is the best Scooby Doo incarnation ever. Their opinions are just as valid as mine because, after all, at the end of the day, it's still just a cartoon.
In the future, I'll try to temper my negativity and I'll keep the harsher fanart in my personal LJ if I ever feel the urge to draw more stuff like that. And if I slip up, don't be afraid to let me know. The last thing I want to do is drive away some of the few members we've got.
